NAPESCO is seeking a skilled Safety Supervisor with a strong background in overseeing safety operations, particularly within the Oil & Gas or industrial sectors. This role is based in Kuwait and requires a proactive individual who can uphold and enhance workplace safety standards while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments including HAZID and Job Safety Analysis (JSA), performing regular safety inspections and audits, and leading incident investigations. The role demands the implementation and monitoring of safety measures in line with recognized standards such as KOC, OSHA, and ISO 45001 to maintain an incident-free work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in safety supervision within the oil & gas industry or similar industrial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Strong expertise in risk assessment methodologies including HAZID and JSA.
• Proficient in conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are mandatory.
• Residency transferable under Article 18, open to Kuwait-based candidates only.
