Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a qualified Safety Officer with extensive experience to join a prominent KOC project based in Ahmadi, Kuwait. This position offers a competitive salary package of 400 KWD, along with transportation and accommodation benefits. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining safety protocols on-site. This includes conducting risk assessments, coordinating safety training sessions, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring all safety measures align with KOC standards. The role requires thorough documentation and reporting of safety activities and incident investigations to foster continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a Diploma in Engineering from an accredited university, accompanied by at least 5 years of HSE experience within the relevant industry.
• Alternatively, candidates who have completed high school education combined with an NEBOSH certification from a reputable institute are eligible, provided they have a minimum of 10 years of experience, including 7 years specifically as HSE personnel.
• Certification in one or more recognized HSE training courses such as General Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, ISO 14001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, or ASSP Certificate in Global Safety Management.
• Mandatory First Aider certification as per KOC.HE.004 standards.
