Job Overview

Combined Group Contracting Co. (K.S.C.) is urgently looking for a dedicated Safety Officer or Supervisor to join their road construction team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are effectively implemented across earthworks, asphalt laying, and traffic management operations.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves planning and enforcing rigorous HSE procedures, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing daily safety practices on site. You will lead regular toolbox talks and site inspections to maintain compliance with established safety standards, particularly under the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and Partnership for Road and Transportation (PART) regulations. Investigating safety incidents, preparing detailed reports, and delivering HSE training sessions will be central to your duties. Coordination with consultants and other stakeholders to promote a safe working environment is also expected.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering along with a NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC). A minimum of three years of experience within road construction projects is essential, with prior involvement in MPW projects considered a strong advantage. Knowledge of local safety legislation and practical experience in construction site safety supervision will help you succeed in this role.
