Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified HSE Supervisor to join a prominent oil and gas company based in Ahmadi, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management, particularly within the oil and gas industry or projects affiliated with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and supervising health and safety measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. This includes conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety inspections. The role also involves organizing safety training sessions, toolbox talks, audits, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports related to HSE activities.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in HSE regulations and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector.
- Skilled in performing risk assessments and managing incident investigations.
- Proficient in safety training delivery, conducting toolbox talks, and implementing emergency response plans.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and other international HSE standards is advantageous.
- Competence in preparing detailed safety reports and maintaining safety records.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in Health, Safety & Environment roles, specifically within the oil and gas industry or on KOC projects. A professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH or its equivalent is mandatory. Applicants should have a valid transferable residency under Article 18 and must currently be residing within Kuwait.
