Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated QHSE Coordinator to join our team in Al Khobar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems in accordance with corporate and project requirements. This role ensures compliance with internationally recognized standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, as well as client-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The QHSE Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing QHSE activities across projects, including the development and maintenance of management systems, conducting audits, and acting as the main liaison for client QHSE communication. Primary duties include:

• Developing and updating QHSE manuals, procedures, policies, and project plans.
• Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for approvals, prequalification, and vendor registration.
• Leading internal, client, and third-party audits and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and non-conformities.
• Monitoring QHSE performance indicators and reporting results to management.
• Conducting site inspections and reviews to uphold safety and environmental standards.
• Reviewing and approving Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and other project-related procedures.
• Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), incidents, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Supporting site and project QHSE teams through guidance, safety meetings, and awareness programs.
• Coordinating efforts with project, engineering, construction, and client teams to maintain consistent QHSE standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and bring at least five years of experience in corporate or regional QHSE roles. Experience managing multiple projects and familiarity with corporate QHSE systems is essential. Candidates with knowledge of Saudi Aramco, NEOM, or SABIC standards will have an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or IOSH certification.
• ISO Lead Auditor certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• Certification from Veritas Bureau is an added benefit.

Work Environment

This position is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and is offered on a single status basis (without family sponsorship). Candidates must be immediately available and able to transfer locally.
