Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable HSE Engineer to support the implementation and management of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems within our projects in Jubail. This role focuses on planning, executing, and evaluating HSE activities to meet safety targets and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards, specifically in the Oil and Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
The HSE Engineer will develop and enforce HSE policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices. Responsibilities include conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance, leading accident investigations, and driving corrective actions. The role requires preparation and approval of Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Hazard Identification Procedures (HIP), managing daily hazard identifications, and supervising onsite HSE officers. You will also be responsible for advising management on resource allocation, approving HSE documentation, and delivering training programs to enhance safety awareness.
Required Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field. A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in HSE within the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy industries is essential. Strong familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations related to clients such as SABIC, SATROP, MADEEN, SEC, and ARAMCO is required. Proven leadership skills in managing HSE teams, along with excellent communication abilities, will be beneficial. Holding valid NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications is mandatory.
Additional Requirements
A valid Saudi driving license is advantageous, and preference will be given to candidates with transferable iqama. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop data-driven dashboards to monitor safety indicators and ensure timely reporting of HSE performance. Experience in supporting IMS policies and safety initiatives in a project-driven environment is preferred.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is SAR 3000 to 4000, which will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
