Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance at project sites in Dammam and Jubail. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial construction or oil and gas pipeline projects and will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to Saudi safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment by performing routine site inspections and audits. Responsibilities include delivering toolbox talks and safety inductions to workers, monitoring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating any incidents or near misses, and compiling detailed investigation reports. Ensuring safe execution of construction and pipeline activities in line with client and regulatory standards is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Airport, Oil & Gas, or Pipeline projects
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) preferred
  • Solid knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and relevant HSE regulations
  • Proficient communication and reporting skills to effectively manage documentation and safety briefings

Additional Requirements

Candidates should be aware of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) technician registration requirements. Experience working within industrial construction or oil and gas pipeline projects will be highly advantageous to manage site-specific safety challenges effectively.

Compensation and Application Details
