Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role involves implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial construction, oil and gas, or pipeline projects and will work closely to maintain compliance with Saudi safety standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and enforce safety measures. Delivering safety inductions and toolbox talks to the workforce is a crucial part of this role. The officer will also monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures on site. Additionally, investigating incidents, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring the safe execution of construction and pipeline activities are key duties.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in airport, oil and gas, pipeline, or industrial construction projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) certification is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessment methodologies, and current HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.

Additional Requirements

This position is open to candidates of Indian or Bengali nationality only; applications from Pakistani nationals will not be considered. Candidate must be able to comply with local Saudi Arabian safety regulations and client standards. Previous experience working in the Saudi market or Gulf region will be advantageous.

Compensation and Work Conditions

The offered salary range for this role is 3,000 to 3,500 SAR per month, with a work schedule of 10 hours per day, six days a week. Accommodation, conveyance, and medical insurance benefits are included as part of the employment package.
