Description

Quality Management System:
Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system for concrete and block production.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, concrete mixes, and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
Monitor production processes to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.

Documentation:
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates.
Track and analyze quality metrics and performance indicators.

Non-Conformance Management:
Identify non-conformance incidents and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
Conduct root cause analyses for defects and develop preventive measures.

Training and Development:
Train staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices related to concrete production.
Promote a quality-focused culture within the organization.

Customer Interaction:
Liaise with clients regarding quality specifications and address any quality-related concerns.
Provide technical support to customers regarding product quality.

Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Research and Development:
Collaborate with R&D to develop new products or improve existing products based on quality insights.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements related to concrete and block manufacturing.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Materials Science, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the concrete and construction industry.
Familiarity with concrete mix design and testing methods.

Certifications:
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.
Additional certifications related to concrete technology (e.g., ACI, PCI) are a plus.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control).
Strong understanding of concrete testing standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO).

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and excellence.

Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with quality management software and databases.
