​Mechanical Technician (Junior)
​📍 Location: Abu Dhabi
​QUALIFICATION (MINIMUM)
​Diploma In Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
​EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM)
​7 + years’ Experience in Maintenance, trouble shooting of rotating equipment’s Trouble shooting, refinery or petrochemical industries.
​Hands on experience on reciprocating compressor and its auxiliaries overhauling, repair and troubleshooting works.
​Ability to carry out break down, preventive, predictive maintenance works and troubleshooting works.
​Good physical requirements to work in confined space and ability to lift parts and tools.
​Good communication skills.
​JOB DESCRIPTION
​Hands-on experience in replacing main bearings, connecting rod bearings, cylinder valves, piston rings, rider rings, piston rods, and lube oil pumps.
​Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
​Perform corrective maintenance to fix compressor problems and malfunctions.
​Experience in shaft alignment, lubrication, sealing, and inspection of reciprocating gas compressor components.
​Prepare tools, materials, and spare parts according to maintenance schedules.
​Prepare accurate commissioning reports, maintenance records, and documentation of all activities.
​Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance findings, and improvement recommendations.
​Follow safety procedures and hazard analysis techniques to ensure a safe working environment.
​Maintain gas reciprocating compressor packages as per design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
​Knowledge of safety systems and industry standards such as API and ASME.
​Troubleshoot compressor performance, efficiency, and reliability issues.
​Involved in major overhauling, preventive maintenance, and repair of reciprocating gas compressors.
​Ability to use diagnostic tools and instruments such as vibration analyzers and pressure gauges.
