Urgent requirement:

Mechanical Engineer – Plumbing (7 Years Experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed shop drawings for plumbing systems, including layout plans, pipe routing, sections, and profiles for underground utilities.
* Develop and review as-built drawings based on site modifications and final installations.
* Execute and supervise plumbing works for underground utilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to resolve clashes and ensure smooth installation of underground services.
* Perform site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to approved drawings.
* Possess strong knowledge of HDPE, UPVC, and CPVC piping systems, including selection, installation, and jointing methods.
* Ensure proper installation of pipe fittings, valves, and accessories as per standards and manufacturer recommendations.
* Prepare quantity take-offs (QS) for plumbing materials, including pipes, fittings, and accessories.
* Calculate and estimate required materials based on drawings and project scope.
* Coordinate with procurement for material submittals, approvals, and delivery schedules.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations during execution.
* Troubleshoot and resolve site issues and technical problems related to plumbing systems.
* Support testing and commissioning of plumbing systems, including pressure testing and inspection.
* Maintain proper documentation and reports related to project progress and material usage.
