Job Overview

Skylark Infra Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join the team working on the prestigious Jeddah Tower project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in promoting and maintaining a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards throughout the commercial building construction activities.

This opportunity is especially suited for Arab nationals with a proven background in safety management within high-rise or commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be tasked with enforcing company HSE policies and procedures, conducting regular site inspections and thorough risk assessments, and identifying hazards to recommend corrective actions. Delivering safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to site personnel is also a vital part of the role.

The incumbent will investigate and report any incidents, accidents, or near misses, coordinating closely with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure a safe working environment. Additional duties include maintaining detailed safety records and reports and leading emergency preparedness plans and drills in alignment with Saudi labor law, Civil Defense regulations, and project-specific requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably involving commercial or high-rise construction projects.
• Certified in NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent recognized safety qualification.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Previous work experience within Saudi Arabia, with strong knowledge of local safety laws and international HSE standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and keen observational abilities.
• Immediate availability for joining is required.
