Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Permit Officer to join our team in the Al Faisaliah District of Jeddah. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing the issuance, renewal, and compliance of various government and municipal permits related to construction and civil projects. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and strong coordination skills to liaise with multiple authorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Permit Officer will be responsible for ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained for ongoing and upcoming projects. This includes:

• Issuing, renewing, and tracking government and municipal permits linked to construction, operation, and environmental compliance.
• Maintaining constant communication with government entities such as municipalities, regulatory bodies, and secretariats to expedite permit processes.
• Managing permit applications and follow-ups through official digital platforms, including Baladi and municipality websites.
• Verifying that all documentation and requirements meet legal standards and company policies for smooth permit issuance and renewal.
• Collaborating internally with project teams and departments to ensure permits are secured within stipulated deadlines.
• Addressing any additional observations or queries raised by authorities promptly to avoid project delays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in handling permits and licenses within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian municipal and government permit systems, particularly the Baladi platform and similar online portals.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple permit applications simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with external agencies and internal teams.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure full compliance with applicable legal requirements and regulations.
