Al Sahel Contracting Company (ASCC) is actively seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join their team in Dubai. This role is essential in maintaining the highest safety standards on site, especially within high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in construction safety, with strong leadership skills to manage workforce safety and compliance efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for supervising all site safety activities, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. This includes implementing safety protocols, conducting regular risk assessments, and coordinating safety training for workers to minimize workplace hazards. The role also involves close collaboration with site supervisors to enforce safety measures throughout the construction phases.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years experience in construction, specifically within the UAE market
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and practices applicable to high-rise building sites
• Leadership skills to manage and guide site teams effectively
• Prior experience working in GCC countries is highly preferred
• Relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are desired
