Job Overview

Petra is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Motor Insurance Specialist to join our operations team in Dubai. This role focuses on delivering outstanding client service while managing motor insurance portfolios within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling the entire insurance lifecycle, from providing accurate quotations to managing renewals and resolving claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

As a Motor Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting competitive, customized motor insurance quotes based on thorough technical analysis. You will actively manage and expand your assigned client portfolio by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely policy renewals. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell motor insurance alongside medical and general insurance products. Generating new business through client referrals and networking will also be a key part of your role. Ensuring all processes are fully compliant with regulations set by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), UAE Insurance Authority, and Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is essential. Keeping accurate pipeline data and assisting with management reporting supports overall operational excellence.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification with at least five years of hands-on experience in motor insurance within the UAE. A strong understanding of market pricing, insurer risk appetite, and local motor insurance regulations is crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining precise attention to detail is vital for success in this fast-paced environment.
