Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Engineer specializing in ICT, ELV, and Low Current Physical Security Solutions. This role focuses on driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, and managing sales activities within our advanced technology portfolio in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will excel in client engagement, project coordination, and sales execution by delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities in IT, Telecom, and Low Current sectors including ELV systems like structured cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, IP telephony, AV systems, and access security. This person will lead client acquisition efforts, develop strong partnerships with existing customers, and collaborate closely with technical and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify and develop potential clients and new business avenues within ICT, ELV, and telecommunications sectors.
- Drive sales for low current systems including CCTV, structured cabling, access control, and physical security solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their technical requirements and business objectives.
- Work with presales and technical teams to prepare competitive bids, proposals, and pricing for tenders and RFQs.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to refine and adapt sales approaches.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations and solution delivery are aligned.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all sales activities.
- Monitor project progress under assigned accounts and follow up on purchase order issuance, invoicing, and payment collection.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets while maintaining a strong professional network.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, computer engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Hands-on knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, parking management, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with ICT infrastructure, network solutions, and data center technologies including servers, storage, HCI, power, and cooling.
- At least five years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical design focused on on-premise data centers and ELV/low current systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to meet business needs.
