Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the ICT, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), and telecommunications sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our client base, managing ongoing relationships, and ensuring successful sales and project execution within our advanced technology solutions portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer, you will identify new business opportunities within the IT, ELV, and telecom industries, focusing on delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. Your duties will include:
- Generating new leads and building strong client relationships across ICT, ELV, and low current systems including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, IP telephony, audiovisual systems, fire alarms, and physical security solutions.
- Collaborating with presales and technical teams to develop comprehensive bids, proposals, and pricing models for tenders and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies effectively.
- Coordinating closely with project management and site teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Maintaining compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all sales approaches.
- Tracking project progress, following up on local purchase order issuance, invoice submissions, and facilitating timely payment collection.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales and revenue targets.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, computer engineering, IT, or a related discipline and demonstrate expertise in:
- Contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and customer relationship management.
- ELV systems including CCTV, access control, parking management, structured cabling, and ICT infrastructure.
- Data center technologies such as servers, storage, hyper-converged infrastructure, networking, power, and cooling solutions.
- At least five years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical design related to on-premise data centers or ELV/low current systems.
- The ability to travel as required to meet client and project needs.
