We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative specialized in freight forwarding to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the freight and logistics industry, focusing on promoting and selling comprehensive freight services including land, sea, air, and express shipping. This role demands building strong client relationships while driving sales growth and expanding the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the freight and logistics sector. You will actively visit current and prospective clients to showcase our service offerings and develop tailored freight solutions. Preparing accurate quotations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure flawless shipment execution are key components of the role. Additionally, you will provide regular sales reports and market insights to management, follow up on client payments alongside finance, and address any shipment-related customer concerns promptly. Representing the company at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and logistics industry events will also be part of your duties.

Qualifications and Required Skills

The successful candidate should hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Logistics. At least two years of proven sales experience within freight forwarding or the shipping industry is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively engage clients, paired with excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities. Familiarity with CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite is required to manage customer relations and documentation efficiently. A valid driver’s license is expected if field visits are necessary, along with a good command of English to handle international correspondence confidently.
