Job Overview

Baran Limited Company is actively seeking a dedicated Safety Officer with over five years of professional experience to join the team for an important project based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on upholding rigorous health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure a secure workplace throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with health and safety policies across the project site. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, audits, and risk evaluations to identify potential hazards.

Additional duties involve investigating accidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports, and promoting a strong safety culture by leading toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions. The officer will also ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), coordinate emergency response drills, and guarantee adherence to Saudi safety regulations and project-specific standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within construction or industrial sectors.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health, safety, and environmental certification is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to generate clear, concise reports.
• Ability to perform under pressure while effectively managing site safety.
