Job Overview

Baran Limited Company is looking for a dedicated Safety Officer with over five years of proven experience to support our Dammam project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly adhered to at the worksite.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring site activities daily to verify full compliance with established HSE policies and procedures. This includes conducting routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implementing corrective measures promptly. The role also involves investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, followed by detailed reporting. The candidate will lead safety talks, inductions, and training sessions to foster a strong safety culture, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment. Additionally, the officer will coordinate emergency response plans and drills while ensuring all work aligns with Saudi Arabian safety regulations and project-specific standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within construction or industrial environments.
• HSE certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and manage site safety requirements efficiently.
