Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join a prominent project based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental practices within Gulf operations. The ideal candidate must be ready to start immediately and participate in an in-person interview conducted on-site in Dammam.

Key Responsibilities

The selected HSE Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance across the project site. Core duties include implementing detailed HSE policies and procedures tailored to the project’s specific needs.

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and detailed safety reports to document safety conditions and progress
• Lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions to raise awareness and promote a safety-first culture among workers
• Ensure strict adherence to PPE requirements and reinforce safe working practices on-site
• Investigate and report any workplace incidents or accidents promptly, recommending corrective actions

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must bring a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in HSE roles, specifically within Gulf countries. A valid Iqama with a transferable or freelance visa status is mandatory, along with current insurance coverage.

• Proven track record in enforcing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental standards
• Strong communication skills for conducting effective safety briefings and training
• Ability to perform detailed risk assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Availability for prompt hiring and immediate integration into the project team
• Willingness to attend an on-site, face-to-face interview as part of the recruitment process
