Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer with a strong background in construction to join our Site Operations team within the Construction Division. This role demands hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations tailored to construction projects in Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with QHSE standards, and managing safety practices for a workforce of approximately 40 employees. The role involves conducting regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and implementing preventive measures to promote a safe working environment throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or Safety Officer specifically within the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE rules and regulations applicable in Bahrain.
- Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or IOSH is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and guide a team of construction workers safely and effectively.
