Job Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced General Manager – Finance to join a leading organization in Bahrain. This senior role requires a strategic and detail-oriented finance professional to oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and risk management ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage the full spectrum of financial activities including:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate financial forecasts, encompassing revenue and cost projections on a monthly basis
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly project forecasts, ensuring they align with overall business objectives
  • Analyzing financial results against budgets and forecasts to deliver actionable insights and support decision-making
  • Creating cost models that guide investment and budgeting strategies
  • Managing cash flow and working capital forecasting to support smooth financial operations and business continuity
  • Monitoring financial inflows and outflows for optimal capital allocation
  • Identifying financial risks and designing effective mitigation plans while maintaining compliance with governance frameworks
  • Supporting the development of risk appetite frameworks and ensuring strict adherence to corporate governance policies
  • Reviewing monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Overseeing revenue recognition processes and generating financial reports and dashboards for senior management review

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years of proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
  • Proficiency with SAP and Business Intelligence tools for thorough financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong expertise in revenue recognition and financial statement review ensuring compliance
  • Excellent leadership abilities alongside outstanding communication and analytical skills
  • Experience working within family-owned businesses and distribution networks is highly desirable

Compensation

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 2000 to 2800 BHD, reflective of qualifications and experience.
