Job Overview

An immediate vacancy is open in Bahrain for a seasoned General Manager – Finance. This key leadership role calls for a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting within the GCC region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong grasp of accounting standards, hands-on expertise with SAP and BI tools, and a solid history in managing family businesses and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management including revenue recognition, compliance, and cash flow management. They will lead financial forecasting, cost management, risk assessment, and ensure accurate audit support and financial reporting. Driving the finance team’s development and maintaining strong analytical and presentation standards are also important parts of the role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience
• Proven expertise in financial forecasting, planning, cost control, and reporting
• Mandatory experience working in the GCC market
• Deep knowledge of accounting standards and revenue recognition processes
• Proficiency in SAP and Business Intelligence reporting tools
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and analytical skills
• Experience managing finances in family-owned businesses and distribution networks
• Age preferred between 45 and 55 years

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges between 2000 to 2800 Bahraini Dinars, depending on expertise and discussion during the hiring process. Other benefits will be aligned with company policies and candidate experience.
