Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Deputy General Manager of Finance (DGM) to join a leading organization in Bahrain. This senior finance leadership role requires a Chartered Accountant with extensive background in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost accounting within the GCC region. The opportunity offers a competitive salary range of 2500 to 3500 BHD and is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong expertise in family business and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

The DGM Finance will oversee a broad range of financial functions critical to the company’s success, including:

• Developing and maintaining detailed financial forecasts, revenue projections, and cost models aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
• Reviewing monthly financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and revenue recognition policies.
• Managing cash flow, working capital forecasts, and risk assessment to safeguard business continuity and optimize capital allocation.
• Conducting strategic investment analysis, feasibility studies, and ROI evaluations to support the Board of Directors’ decision-making.
• Overseeing family shareholdings, analyzing shareholder value, and recommending strategies to enhance investment returns and dividend reinvestments.
• Coordinating audits by providing necessary reconciliations, documentation, and liaison with internal and external auditors.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to foster collaboration and professional growth.
• Leveraging SAP and Business Intelligence tools for enhanced financial reporting, data analytics, and process improvements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of proven experience in financial management roles.
• Significant hands-on experience within the GCC, particularly in family-owned businesses and distribution sectors.
• Expert knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and BI reporting tools for finance data analysis and dashboard creation.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in revenue recognition, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
