Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Level 1 Rigger for an urgent opening to support operations in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, and Industrial project sectors. This role is based in Yunbu, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with a solid background in rigging and lifting activities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing lift plans, selecting the appropriate rigging equipment for tasks, and closely coordinating with crane operators. Supervising the execution of heavy and critical lifts is vital to ensuring safe and efficient operations on-site. Adhering to all company and industry safety standards during lifting activities forms a crucial part of the role.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on rigging experience within construction, industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC project environments.
• Strong understanding of lift plans and rigging documentation.
• Proficient in load weight calculations, center of gravity assessments, and sling angle calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret crane load charts accurately.
• Experience handling heavy lifts, preferably over 40 tons.
• Preferred skills include the ability to prepare rigging plans using AutoCAD.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation purposes.
