Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Inspector to join the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) team for a prominent project in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring that all heavy construction equipment complies with stringent safety standards and operational requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of heavy construction equipment and machinery to verify operational safety
• Ensure adherence to HSSE policies and implement site-specific safety procedures
• Collaborate closely with the HSSE team to conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures
• Check equipment certification, maintenance documentation, and operator compliance thoroughly
• Identify and report any unsafe conditions and recommend timely corrective actions
• Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports and maintain proper documentation
• Monitor the condition and usage of lifting equipment, earthmoving machinery, and site vehicles

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in construction equipment inspection roles
• Proven experience on oil & gas, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of HSSE standards and related safety regulations
• In-depth knowledge of inspection procedures for heavy construction machinery
• Relevant inspection or safety certifications are highly desirable
• Effective communication skills in English
• Experience in GCC or Saudi Arabian project environments is advantageous
