Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Procurement Assistant to join our team in Dubai, supporting the purchasing activities within the automotive and automotive spare parts sector. This role offers a great opportunity for professionals with some procurement experience to develop their skills in a dynamic international trading and distribution environment. The position comes with a monthly salary package ranging from AED 8,000 to AED 12,000.

Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth procurement operations by handling various tasks such as:

• Preparing and processing purchase orders, quotations, and related procurement documents.
• Engaging with suppliers to discuss pricing details, product availability, order status, and delivery timelines.
• Requesting competitive quotes from different suppliers and assisting in price comparisons.
• Tracking purchase orders to guarantee timely delivery and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of suppliers and procurement transactions.
• Collaborating closely with warehouse, logistics, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless coordination.
• Assisting in monitoring inventory levels and supporting the replenishment process.
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the procurement team.
• Addressing and helping to resolve supplier or delivery-related challenges efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar discipline.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with good organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and familiarity with procurement or ERP software systems.
• Ability to coordinate smoothly with both suppliers and internal teams.
• Mandarin language skills are highly preferred, enhancing supplier communication.
• Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the UAE.
