Job Overview

GM Solutions is seeking a seasoned Cost Analyst / Assistant Manager to enhance cost management processes across the group. This role focuses on driving cost visibility, budgeting, profitability analysis, inventory valuation, and cost control to support informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost analysis activities, preparing and monitoring budgets, conducting profitability assessments, and managing inventory valuation. Responsibilities also include implementing cost control measures, performing variance analysis, and assisting in cost allocation to optimize operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• CPA or CA qualification is essential.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within large multinational conglomerates.
• Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain operations, or project accounting.
• Expertise in cost analysis methodologies including ABC costing, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Proficient in variance analysis and cost allocation techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Practical experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with multi-country operations and transfer pricing is preferred.
• Excellent analytical abilities, reporting skills, and business partnership experience.
• Previous work experience in the GCC region is a plus.
