Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Assistant Rig Electrician to join a leading oil and gas client in the United Arab Emirates. This position offers a great opportunity for professionals with solid experience in electrical work within both onshore and offshore environments. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and have a minimum of two years’ experience specifically as an Assistant Electrician in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the electrical team by assisting in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on rig sites. This includes working closely with senior electricians to ensure all electrical installations comply with safety and industry standards. The role involves operating in demanding environments, both onshore and offshore, and requires a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is mandatory; diploma holders will not be considered.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Electrician in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven experience working in onshore and offshore settings.
• Familiarity with drilling rig operations is advantageous but not essential.
