Expeed International Logistics is seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to lead our UAE operations from Dubai. This leadership role demands a logistics expert with over 10 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations within the UAE. The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for managing end-to-end logistics activities, ensuring efficient and seamless operations across multiple freight and customs processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Operations Manager will be accountable for directing a team of 7 to 10 operations professionals, coordinating all facets of logistics execution throughout the UAE. Responsibilities include managing sea and air freight operations, overseeing customs clearances, and maintaining strong partnerships with shipping lines, airlines, customs authorities, and transport providers. You will also handle import and export workflows and supervise warehousing activities within free zones.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Extensive knowledge of sea and air freight logistics
• Experience with Dubai customs procedures and Bill of Entry (BOE) processing
• Understanding of free zone warehousing operations
• Familiarity with GCC trucking regulations and border clearance
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing operational teams
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities with key stakeholders in shipping, airlines, and customs

Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in freight forwarding and logistics within the UAE market. Deep familiarity with local regulations, customs processes, and freight standards is essential to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Leadership experience managing a substantial operations team is also required.
