Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Operation Team Leader to join our team in the UAE. This role involves managing the daily operations of a large-scale warehouse or mega store, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and timely dispatch. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics management, coupled with strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate their team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The Operation Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. Managing the workflow related to picking, packing, and dispatching orders falls under this role, along with acting as the point of contact for resolving operational challenges and escalations.

Additional duties include:

• Allocating tasks to warehouse, delivery, logistics associates, and support staff effectively.
• Monitoring team attendance, discipline, and productivity to maintain high performance standards.
• Providing training and coaching to team members while delivering real-time feedback.
• Ensuring inventory accuracy by tracking and handling goods carefully.
• Coordinating with logistics partners to guarantee timely dispatch of orders.
• Promptly addressing any discrepancies or operational issues.
• Handling customer complaints and order escalations with a focus on quick resolutions.
• Maintaining hygiene standards and audit readiness at the workplace.

Requirements

Applicants should hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a similar field, though relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education. At least two years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail sectors is expected, along with a minimum of six months to a year in a supervisory or team leader role. Experience within e-commerce, quick commerce, or FMCG industries is advantageous.

Key skills include:

• Strong leadership and effective team management capabilities.
• The ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic familiarity with Order Management System (OMS) or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and peak periods.

Work Schedule and Benefits

This position offers an 8-hour shift schedule with a 1-hour lunch break, working six days a week with one rotational day off. The company provides a visa, medical and health insurance, and an air ticket every two years. Please note that accommodation and transportation are not supplied.
