Al Sagr National Insurance is seeking an experienced Marine Underwriting Officer to join their team in the United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
The Marine Underwriting Officer will be responsible for evaluating marine insurance risks and determining policy terms. They will analyze client proposals, negotiate conditions, and support the development of underwritten portfolios that align with company standards. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for liaising with brokers, clients, and internal teams effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in marine underwriting
- In-depth knowledge of marine insurance lines including Hull & Machinery, Cargo, and P&I
- Excellent analytical abilities to assess and price marine risks accurately
- Proficient communication and negotiation capabilities to manage client relationships
- A university degree attested in the UAE
