Desert Group, part of the Al Ghandi Group of Enterprises, is urgently seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale landscape maintenance operations across the United Arab Emirates. This senior role demands a highly skilled professional with extensive experience managing comprehensive landscape maintenance contracts and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As the Landscape Maintenance Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all facets of large-scale landscape projects. This includes planning, executing, and monitoring horticulture care, irrigation systems, turf management, pest control, fertilization, and seasonal maintenance activities. You will develop maintenance schedules, manpower deployment plans, resource allocation, and operational budgets to ensure projects remain on time and within financial targets.

This role requires oversight of contract profitability through diligent cost control, procurement management, and continuous project optimization. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders is essential, as is leading a multidisciplinary team comprising engineers, supervisors, technicians, gardeners, and subcontractors. You will also be responsible for tracking key performance indicators, managing operational risks, and ensuring high standards of service delivery across all projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 20 years of proven experience in landscape maintenance operations and management of large-scale projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field
• Deep technical knowledge of irrigation systems, turf care, plant health, fertilization, and pest control
• Strong understanding of contract management, budgeting, manpower planning, procurement, and project profitability
• Exceptional leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills
