Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joinery Supervisor / Foreman to lead joinery teams and carpenters on site within the United Arab Emirates. This full-time, site-based position offers a competitive salary determined during the interview process. The ideal candidate will have extensive joinery experience, particularly in fit-out and furniture projects, and possess strong leadership qualities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Joinery Supervisor / Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily joinery operations on site, ensuring that all tasks align with project schedules and quality standards. Your primary duties include:

• Leading and supervising joinery teams and carpenters throughout the project lifecycle
• Interpreting and working from detailed shop drawings to guide accurate installations
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining a safe working environment
• Coordinating closely with project managers and the workshop team to align on progress and resolve issues promptly
• Inspecting materials, finishes, and overseeing snagging processes to guarantee quality delivery

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who bring a solid background in joinery and team leadership. Key qualifications include:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in joinery, with a strong focus on fit-out and furniture projects
• Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings and performing accurate site measurements
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage onsite teams effectively
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with different stakeholders
• Previous work experience in the UAE is highly preferred
