Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a skilled Storekeeper / Material Controller to oversee raw material inventory management within the plastics manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of polymer and plastic materials, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and accurate stock control.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves comprehensive inventory management of polymers, resins, granules, masterbatches, and various plastic types such as HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PE, PVC, and PET. You will supervise the daily processes including receiving, issuing, and dispatching materials. Implementing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock protocols to maintain material quality and freshness is essential. Accurate documentation of all material movements must be maintained through SAP or ERP systems. An important aspect of the position is optimizing warehouse space while following safety guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience

The candidate should have between 8 to 15 years of proven experience in storekeeping, store incharge, or inventory control roles, preferably within plastics manufacturing environments encompassing extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding processes. Candidates from related sectors such as MEP, plumbing, infrastructure, or pipeline construction with hands-on experience managing HDPE/PVC pipes, fittings, and chemicals are also encouraged to apply. Strong proficiency in SAP or ERP inventory modules and excellent material stock-taking capabilities are necessary to succeed in this role.
