Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled GPS Technician with at least one year of experience to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining GPS tracking and telematics devices on various vehicles and assets. This role requires a technical mindset along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and set up GPS tracking and telematics systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure devices are functioning correctly after installation.
• Diagnose any hardware, wiring, or connectivity problems and provide timely solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration to optimize system accuracy and performance.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, service reports, and technical observations.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company policies during all tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of practical experience working with GPS tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of telematics hardware and vehicle electronics.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs efficiently.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
