Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our team for major Oil & Gas and Refinery projects in the United Arab Emirates. This role requires a highly skilled professional with over 15 years of hands-on experience in utility transmission, substations, and protection systems within complex industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of projects related to utility transmission and substations. You will ensure compliance with international standards and operate with extensive knowledge of electrical protection systems, including working directly with protection relays from leading manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, GE, and MiCOM. Collaboration with engineering teams and maintaining high standards for safety and quality are essential parts of this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Refinery sectors.
- In-depth expertise in utility transmission, substations, and related electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, including IEC and IEEE.
- Practical experience with protection relays, particularly from ABB, Siemens, GE, and MiCOM.
