Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solution Designer with deep expertise in Payment Systems to join a prominent bank based in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a thorough understanding of payment schemes, SWIFT technologies, and related integration processes to effectively design and implement robust payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The Solution Designer will be responsible for developing and overseeing solutions related to international payment processing, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking systems. The position involves:

• Providing expert insight into various payments schemes with a particular focus on SWIFT and Global Payments Innovation (GPI).
• Managing technical aspects of SWIFT Alliance, SWIFT Gateways, File Act, and enterprise reporting tools.
• Applying comprehensive knowledge of SAG, AWP, GPI, and IPLA platforms.
• Designing and validating MT and MX message structures for payment transactions.
• Collaborating with reconciliation systems such as Intellisuite to ensure transactional accuracy.
• Supporting system integration efforts as an Application Architect, focusing on channel banking interfaces such as Internet and Mobile Banking.
• Ensuring compliance with non-functional requirements including scalability, security, and availability.
• Generating Enterprise Architecture (EA) reports covering metrics like process adherence, architecture demand, financials, and resource allocation.
• Conducting compliance reviews in line with EA processes, principles, standards, and tools, and publishing related reports.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should demonstrate:

• In-depth experience with SWIFT standards, payment schemes, and messaging formats.
• Strong technical knowledge of payment processing systems and settlement platforms.
• Proficiency in system integration architecture with hands-on experience as an Application Architect.
• Familiarity with banking channels such as internet and mobile platforms.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and non-functional system requirements.
• Experience generating detailed EA reports and managing compliance reviews.
• Additional knowledge of international payment schemes is an advantage.
