A prominent bank in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in mobile app development. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working with the KONY Platform Mobile Fabric 8.X and a strong background in designing secure and efficient mobile applications within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend development efforts for mobile applications using KONY Mobile Fabric 8.X platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile app architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to build and deploy mobile solutions.
• Ensure mobile app development lifecycle best practices are followed from conception through deployment.
• Implement secure code practices to meet stringent mobile app security requirements.
• Manage mobile app distribution processes effectively.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, especially within the banking domain.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years in mobile application development, with significant experience in KONY Platform Mobile Fabric 8.X.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design, and development processes.
• Strong proficiency in Java, SOAP, RESTful services, XML, and .
• Deep knowledge of mobile app lifecycle and distribution strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• KONY Certified Developer credential is essential.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a strong advantage.
