A leading company in Dubai is seeking a skilled Media Delivery Engineer to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in networking, web server configuration, and content delivery technologies who are ready to contribute to high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Media Delivery Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing media delivery infrastructure, ensuring seamless content distribution and fault-tolerant systems. The role requires hands-on work with network protocols, server configuration, and CDN technologies to support reliable media streaming and delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and routing principles.
• Knowledge of DNS implementation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network load balancing concepts and systems.
• In-depth familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS protocols and SSL certificate workflows.
• Proficiency with HTTP/HTTPS proxy, reverse proxy, and caching mechanisms.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience configuring Microsoft IIS and/or Apache httpd web servers.
• Exposure to CDNs such as Akamai and Broadpeak is highly desirable.
• Programming skills in one or more of the following: PHP, NodeJS, Ruby, or C#.

Preferred Qualifications

Immediate availability is strongly preferred as the company aims to fill the position urgently. Candidates with previous experience in media delivery optimization and CDN management will stand out.
