Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Network Engineer (Level 3) based in Dubai, UAE. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in network and telephony systems, specifically focusing on Cisco, Avaya, HP, and Extreme technologies. Immediate joiners residing in the UAE will be given priority. This position involves managing projects end-to-end, ensuring robust and efficient network infrastructure across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Network Engineer, you will:

• Oversee end-to-end implementation and management of network projects.
• Maintain and optimize network and telephony systems using Cisco, Avaya, HP, and Extreme equipment.
• Exhibit expert-level knowledge in switching technologies including VLAN routing, VLAN ACLs, floor switching, trunking, port-channel configurations, and VTP modes.
• Manage routing protocols such as Static routing, OSPF, source-based routing, and IP SLA.
• Configure and maintain firewall systems focusing on Access Policies, NAT (Source, Static, Destination), firewall zoning, and architectural best practices.
• Handle switch, router, and firewall migration tasks efficiently.
• Support Cisco Wireless environments and possess general understanding of WAF concepts and IP addressing schemas.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience with Cisco ASA 55XX, Juniper SRX 650, Juniper ISG1000, and FortiGate 101F firewalls.
• Strong hands-on skills in switching, routing, VLAN configuration, NAT, and DHCP setups.
• Proven expertise in telephony systems, particularly Avaya platforms.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Ability to manage complex network environments and deliver solutions smoothly.
• Immediate availability and residence within the UAE.
