Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Engineer Level 2 based in Dubai to provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for desktop and laptop users. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Windows environments, Office 365, and server administration, with the ability to manage backups, configure network security, and support various hardware devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops and laptops, including installation and troubleshooting.
• Install and resolve issues related to MS Office products and Outlook configuration.
• Set up and maintain printers and scanners, including scan to email configuration.
• Support and manage Office 365 applications and SharePoint services.
• Handle backup solutions such as Symantec Backup and server backup systems, ensuring data integrity.
• Administer Windows servers and manage virtual machines across Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2016 platforms.
• Implement and troubleshoot firewall settings, VPN connections, and enforce user policies.
• Perform corrective actions related to backups and system failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Windows desktop and server environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting MS Office Suite and configuring Outlook.
• Experience in printer and scanner setup and resolving hardware issues.
• Good understanding of Office 365 products, including SharePoint administration.
• Familiarity with backup tools, especially Symantec Backup solutions.
• Knowledge of managing and configuring Windows Server operating systems.
• Ability to manage virtual machines and perform system backups.
• Experience with VPNs, firewalls, and security policy implementations.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Experience working with MAC products is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of the Hindi language is considered a plus.
