We are seeking a seasoned IT Assurance Consultant to join a reputable bank in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance to support the bank’s technology assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Assurance Consultant will be responsible for assessing and ensuring adherence to IT security standards, evaluating risks, and providing assurance on the effectiveness of technology controls. The role involves close collaboration with technical subject matter experts and senior leadership to deliver clear and actionable insights on IT governance and compliance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in Information Technology roles, including at least 5 years focused on IT governance, risk, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of IT security frameworks and industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, and COBIT.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior management.
• Familiarity with conducting IT assurance assessments and managing compliance activities.
• Certifications like CISA, CEH, or CISSP are highly desirable to demonstrate expertise in IT security and assurance.
