Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Coordinator to oversee maintenance operations for equipment and field assets within the offshore oil and gas industry. This role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and compliance in both yard and offshore environments. The position offers a rotation schedule of 60 days on duty followed by 30 days leave with paid time off.

Key Responsibilities

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for managing the scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all operational equipment. This includes overseeing contractor management, tracking equipment availability, and ensuring all machinery, including forklifts, cranes, telehandlers, generators, vehicles, and lifting gear, undergo regular inspections and certifications. Proper documentation and adherence to inspection standards are essential, ensuring smooth and safe operations across logistics and maintenance functions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Diploma in automobile or mechanical engineering.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in equipment maintenance coordination, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of forklifts, cranes, telehandlers, generators, vehicles, and lifting equipment.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance planning and conducting equipment inspections.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to efficiently handle scheduling and documentation tasks.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability and willingness to work offshore for extended rotations.

Work Environment

This role requires working in offshore settings, supporting operations that depend on well-maintained equipment and procedures. Candidates must be prepared to engage with both yard-based and offshore teams, providing reliable coordination under often demanding conditions.
