An established oil and gas client in the United Arab Emirates is urgently seeking a qualified Assistant Rig Electrician to support their drilling operations. This is a key role ideal for candidates with a solid background in electrical work on onshore and offshore rigs, particularly within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Rig Electrician will assist with maintaining and repairing electrical systems on drilling rigs, ensuring all electrical operations are safe and efficient. This includes troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting rig maintenance teams, and collaborating closely with senior electricians and engineers to uphold operational standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory; diplomas will not be considered.
• Minimum of two years’ hands-on experience as an Assistant Electrician in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience working both onshore and offshore adds significant value.
• Previous involvement with drilling rig electrical systems is a strong advantage.
