Job Overview

Al Mawarid Bldg Metalic Const. Ind. Co. LLC is seeking a proficient Draftsman with expertise in aluminum and glass systems. The role focuses on creating precise shop and fabrication drawings for façades, curtain walls, windows, doors, and glass installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for curtain wall systems, aluminum windows and doors, as well as glass partitions and façade works. This includes producing fabrication drawings derived from approved shop drawings and coordinating with site engineers and project managers to meet drawing requirements. Additional duties involve preparing material take-offs and cutting lists, revising drawings in response to consultant or client feedback, and ensuring drafting consistency aligned with structural calculations for aluminum sections. Maintaining accurate drawing records and revisions is also crucial.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in aluminum and glass drafting
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
• Solid knowledge of aluminum systems, profiles, and accessories
• Understanding of various glass types, thicknesses, and installation methods
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings effectively
• Experience with curtain wall and façade detailing is highly desirable
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple project stakeholders
• Open to candidates of all nationalities

Preferred Qualifications

A diploma or technical certification in drafting or engineering is preferred. Familiarity with projects in the UAE and hands-on experience with site measurements and installation procedures will be considered an asset.
