Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Telecom Rollout and Site Integration Engineers to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on the integration and commissioning of Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia network equipment, along with expertise in microwave transmission systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful rollout and optimal performance of mobile network sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities

The main tasks include installation, integration, and commissioning of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G RAN equipment from leading vendors such as Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia. You will also be responsible for microwave link installation and proper alignment, working with equipment like Huawei RTN, Ericsson MINI-LINK, and Nokia MW. End-to-end rollout coordination is essential, covering installation, testing, and on-air acceptance phases. Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues during and after site activation will be part of your daily duties. Additionally, you will perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), Post Acceptance Tests (PAT), and quality audits according to operator standards. Close collaboration with field teams, network operation centers (NOC), and vendor engineers is required to meet project deadlines. Preparing thorough integration reports, logs, and documentation for project management and handover is also expected.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate must have practical hands-on experience integrating RAN equipment from Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia. A strong understanding of microwave systems is necessary, including configuration, cross-polarization interference cancellation (XPIC), Adaptive Transmit Power Control (ATPC), and Quality of Service (QoS) management. Familiarity with site commissioning tools such as U2000, ENM, and NetAct is important. Knowledge of telecom rollout procedures, installation standards, and safety regulations is required. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting RF plans, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and site design documents. Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills are critical. Previous experience working in the UAE or the GCC telecom sector is highly valued. A valid UAE driving license will be considered an advantage.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. Vendor certifications like Huawei HCIA/HCIP, Ericsson Certified Engineer, or Nokia NRS will be a valuable addition to your profile.
