Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the UAE or GCC region. This role requires a professional with proven experience in commissioning VRF and VRV systems. Immediate availability is highly favored for this position.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of VRF/VRV systems, ensuring they meet all technical and safety standards. Responsibilities include performing refrigerant piping work, pressure and vacuum testing, insulation, and drainage checks. The engineer will also prepare and review technical documentation such as Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements. Collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams is essential to maintain project quality and timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, attested by UAE MOFA.
- Hands-on experience in VRF/VRV installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of refrigerant piping, pressure and vacuum testing protocols, insulation, and drainage systems.
- Ability to interpret HVAC drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with UAE and international standards applicable to mechanical commissioning.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to effectively interact with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience working on projects within the UAE or GCC is preferred.
