Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned HV Design Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team working on high voltage substation projects in Dubai South. This role requires extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on high voltage systems, especially 132/11 KV substations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background working with leading Main Contractors or MEP Contractors within the UAE construction and infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing electrical systems for high voltage substations. This includes preparing detailed design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project execution on-site at Dubai South.

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with reputable Main or MEP Contractors in the UAE.
• Proven track record with high voltage substation projects, particularly 132/11 KV substations.
• Familiarity with DEWA approvals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical design principles and standards applicable to high voltage installations.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with project teams.
